DUPE ALERT!

I bought this Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in Pearl Plum for about $6.00 because it is a great dupe for the Dior Addict Ultra gloss in Flash that is $26.00.

The Revlon is just a pinch darker. They both have the same fine glitter in them and they are both very pigmented on the lips.

The first swatch is the Dior (left)
and the other swatch (right) is Revlon.

Looking for a great quality light redish lipgloss for half the price of a high end one? Defiantly check out the Revlon at your local drug store.

Revlon Love

I did some Revlon damage at CVS. I purchased three lip glosses. Very Chanel like packaging that I was drawn to. The longer one is from the new Colorburst collection (about $7.00), and the two shorter ones are from the Super Lustrous collection (about $6.00).

Pink Whisper (130), Bronze Shimmer (030), Pearl Plum (090)

These glosses are amazing because they aren't sticky at all. You won't be trying to take sticky gloss off your hair. They are very pigmented, and just great quality. I prefer these glosses to Mac ones to be honest with you guys. Mac glosses are very VERY sticky! to the point where if you go move your hair from your lips you will have like a streak from your lips to your cheek... not attractive ladies!

New Joy!

Yes, yes I have a problem! This is my new pride and joy... my nails polish rack! It holds about 60 polishes, but maybe more depending on the bottles. I love this, It's so perfect and easy to pick out a color and see your collection. This was about $20 and I got it off of eBay, you can just search nail polish racks and a bunch will come up.

I also wanted to share with you guys this cool thing I found at Michaels Craft store...

It is perfect to hold watched or bracelets. Easy to display your jewelry, no more searching, and best of all your stuff doesn't get all tangled together. I think this was about $10-$15, but Michaels always runs sales.

Drugstore Haul!

Just a little haulage that I did today. I hope to give you guys good reviews about everything I bought! Cant wait to try them all!

Sally Hansen lovers!

I adore anything Sally Hansen made. They are always great quality and true to what is written. The two products I gravitate towards the most is Insta-Grip fast dry base coat, and Green Tea Bamboo nail strengthener. The Insta-Grip is my base coat and it helps any nail polish I put on top last longer and dry a little faster than normal. The nail strengthener is what actually helped me make my nails long and stronger. I was a bad biter but this stuff really helped my nails grow and stay strong. You can also you it as a top coat. You can find both these products at the drugstore for less then $10. I highly recommend both!

When all else fails

Snow got me down so I of course did what cheers me up.... PAINT MY NAILS!
This was a Mac limited edition color from the Hello Kitty line. Its called On The Prowl and its a cream shade. Its the perfect cement gray. The Mac polishes are very easy to apply and they seem almost effortless.

I found some dupes for this color. I don't own them...YET
Sally Hansen in Wet Cement is an exact dupe for this color. It is part of the Xtreme Wear line.

Mint Candy Apple

Essie Mint Candy Apple. Gorgeous tiffany blue color. Easy to apply. Essie is by far a very good nail polish and has a wide range of colors.

MAC MAC MAC

I love Mac shadows. They are what I started with and I use them everyday one way or another. They have much to offer with all the shades available. They are very pigmented and easy to work with and blend like a dream.  I like to keep my Mac shadows all together in a pallet. The pallets I use you can buy at any Mac store It is about $15 and then you can depot your shadows and put them in or you can just buy the shadow in pan form. These are some of my shadows in the pallet...
I don't keep them in any order I just like to have them all together. These are the main shadows that I think are a must have in your makeup collection.

Sketch-Brown burgundy with a reddish undertone

Naked Lunch-  Light white/pink shimmer

Vanilla- Ivory with gold reflects

All that Glitters- Shimmer pink pearl

Satin Taup- A brown taup with flects of silver

NYX Runway Collection

This NYX is a great 10 color pallet. Range from shimmer shadows to matt shadows. These shadows last a long time and they are easy to blend and very very very pigmented. I use the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk and Black Bean as a base when I use these shadows.

Again I love my neutrals so I have the Champagne & Caviar pallet. There are over 10 pallets you can choose from if you want to go for a more party look. This pallet is very inexpensive and NYX has such great quality stuff as usual. This pallet is about $8.00. You can find the pallet at Cherryculture.com and also at Ulta stores.

NYX Jumbo pencils

NYX Jumbo pencils are by far my favorite eye shadow base. You can also use these on their own as eye shadows. With over 28 jumbo pencils you can choose from I sadly only have four. They are easy to use. You can apply them right on your eye or with a brush or I like to use my fingers. Easy to blend and it doesn't dry out. No pulling or tugging at your eyes. You can use them as regular liners.

Pots & Pans, Black Bean, French Fries, Milk (my favorite).
For  a great price of $3.50 you can't go wrong at all! Great quality

You can find these at CHERRYCULTURE.COM
Or ULTA locations.

GET NAKED... If you can

I have been waiting for this pallet since I first hear it was coming out about 6 months ago. Took me another 4 months to actually get my hands on it & now I am in love! Urban Decay Naked pallet is amazing! Pure love for the neutral lovers like myself.

All the colors are creamy and easily blendable. There are 12 shadows, only two are matt. The colors look amazing when paired with the primer potion (which you get a travel size with the pallet). Also paired with either the Zero (black) pencil, or Whisky (brown) pencil. You get the double ended pencils with the package.

This pallet can be ordered at UrbanDecay.com, Sephora online or at stores, & Ulta locations.

LC

I couldnt help myself I was getting bored with my dark nail polishes and decided to try out my new LC polish from Zoya.
Its a pretty like orangey red. Goes on so smooth I love the application of it.

When all else fails, paint your nails! xoxo

Benift Box Blush

Benefit's "box-o-powders" are amazing! The packaging is super cute and the pay off is amazing. I have 3 out of 8. Whatever shade or color you get comes with a cute little blush applicator. I usually don't like smell to my makeup but all these blushes have a scent to them. Its like a light perfume smell. Bearable.  I have
 Coralista (coral pink)
Sugarbomb (mix of peach/rose/shimmering pink/soft plum)
            Bella Bamba (watermelon pink)
Also Hoola is really nice to use as a bronzer but I don't have that one YET.

All of Zoya's nail polishes have girl names. The three colors I got are LC, Lo, and Whitney. These are very fun summer colors and I cant wait to wear them all! These can be found at Zoya.com.

Bare Minerals Well Rested!

If you are looking to brighten up your under eye area this is great! If you want that Kim Kardashian glow under the eyes this does it for you. Bare Minerals Well Rested is amazing! First off I love their Shifter jar it keeps the product in place and you don't waste any. You can use this for so many things like you can a lot of Bare Mineral products. I use this to set my concealer. You can also use this on its own to cover up dark circles so you don't need to use it with concealer because it would act like one. You can also use this as a highlight or eye shadow for an even more brighting affect. It's a multidimensional purpose products. I use it with a Mac 225 brush

Make Up Forever!

This is my holy grail concealer. It covers up any imperfections, scars and discoloration. This stuff is AMAZING! I don't use this under my under eyes because it is a thick consistency. Its oil-free, water proof, and a matt finish. My color is 5 Vanilla.
AMAZING!

Glosses of the month

My two favorite cant live without glosses this month are one drug store and one splurge.
Dior Ultra Gloss in Flash 756 ($26.50)
Revlon Colorburst 002 Crystal Lilac ($7.99)
  • Both beautiful
  • non sticky
  • great pigmentation
  • Dior has a crush applicator
  • Revlon has a perfect sponge applicator that is curved to fit your lips

  • Dior has perfect sparkle flecks in it, just enough to catch the light when you move. They are very fine glitters with a red sheen.
  • Revlon is the perfect baby pink gloss to top off any pink lipstick, or great on its own. It has a golden undertone that makes the pink just pop!

drugstore vs. name brand

I was in the market for a new under eye concealer. I came across the Milani HD Advance Concealer for eyes and face. Not going to lie the first thing that attracted me to this what that fact that it look exactly like the YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch concealer.

YSL ($40)                                                                        Milani ($6.99)

They both have the gold packaging and they both have the pen like clicker on the bottom to bring out the product. I love that! It makes it more fun for me to apply concealer lol.

  • This concealer applies like a dream. It is very smooth, easy to work with, and very blend able.
  • It comes in four different shades. Light. Medium. Medium Beige. Medium Honey.
  • I got light because I like to get that glow under my eye.
  • I also only use this product under my eyes not on any spot I want to conceal on my face.

Overall I enjoy this product and think it's a great drugstore concealer. I would defiantly repurchase this product.
