Luxuary Haulage

I was in desperate need to, well, spend money lol. This is my little haulage...

  • Bobbi Brown Eye Balm. It's a night balm that is supposed to be very hydrating. It helps fight puffiness, reduce the look of  lines, dry lines (which I have), and protects skin. The skin under everyones eyes is super sensitive. ($65.00)
  • Corrector. Goes on before your concealer. My color is in Bisque. Its neutralizes the dark or purple colors under your eye. ($22.00)
  • Creamy concealer. My color is Warm Ivory. I tried it at the store and it is very smooth, and said to be one of the best concealers. ($22.00)
  • YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in  Blond Sensuel #2. ($34.00)

I got all these and my Lord & Taylor counters. Reviews to come!

Clarisonic Love

The Clarisonic has changed my life... okay, okay, I am being dramatic, but it has changed my skin! I had been going back and forth about this product for about a year now. I heard it wasn't worth the hype or I heard it was amazing. It is a lot of money to just drop ($195.00), and of course I decided to take the plunge. Worst comes to worst I could have returned it but of course I didn't.  This baby is never leaving me! I don't know how I ever had a skin care routine without it.

Comes with:

  • Clarisonic with two speeds
  • Charging Cradle
  • Sensitive brush head
  • Trial size facial cleaner
The three trial size facial cleansers are

  1. Normal/dry skin
  2. Normal/oily skin
  3. All/sensitive skin
You are supposed to do 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds on your nose and chin area, and 10 seconds on each cheek.

I have yet to find the perfect cleanser to use with my Clarisonic but I have been using the normal/oily skin cleanser that came with it. It's not bad makes my skin feel very clean and fresh.

There are also different brush heads you can buy

  1. Delicate skin
  2. Sensitive skin
  3. Normal skin
You are supposed to change your brush head every 3 months and they are $25.00 each.

The Clarisonic benefits (as shown on the website)

  • 6 times more makeup removal
  • Soft, smooth skin
  • Cleanses so well that products absorb better
  • Reduces appearance of oily areas, dry skin patches, and blemishes
  • Reduces the appearance of visible pores

I love this product and I got mine in pink for breast cancer awareness. I highly recommend it. Think of the price as more of an investment, because this will last a long time.

Eyelash Curler.

Want to always make the most out of your lashes? Curl them. When you curl your lashes it makes you look more awake, and your eyes wider. They say you should always curl your lashes before mascara but who like to follow rules? Not me! I like to apply a thin layer or mascara, curl, then finish with a layer of  my favorite mascara. It gives my lashes a nicer oomph. I like to hold my curler at the root for about 20 seconds and pump it 3 times. Then I also like to put it mid lash and do the same.

A great trick is to also heat your eyelash curler with your blow dry, let it cool for just a bit, and it will be like a curling iron for your lashes. This is a great alternate tip rather than spending so much money on an expensive heated eyelash curler. Yes, those do exists.

Nars Duo

This is my very first Nars eyeshadow and I am very pleased with my purchase. Nars has a great variety of colors that come in singles and duo's. They are higher end and pricey but are a great quality. You pay for what you get. I have a Nars counter at my Lord & Taylor and thats where I purchased mine.

The duo I have is Brousse ($33.00).
One color is like a black purple with flecks of gold.
The other color is bronzy brown with flecks of gold.
Both very pigmented, easy to blend, and gorgeous.
The packaging is super sleek and sexy!

Happy Booster?

LOOK HAPPY! FEEL HAPPY! I saw this product at my local Rite Aid and passed it up. Went home and that was all I can think about. The cute little heart packaging, the pretty colors, and it makes me feel happy? I have been searching for this blush for about two weeks and I finally got my hands on it! When you mix this beautiful Rose blush together you get the nicest pink flesh, with a great sheen. Physicians Formula infused this product with a blend of happy booster, and endorphins to help the skin feel happy and look happy!

Blush in general makes me happy so I don't really know how accurate it is on the product it self making me happy. The Happy Booster blush in Rose was $13.95 and worth every penny. Plus I am such a sucker for cute packaging :)

A great dupe for this color is Mac's DollyMix blush ($19.50).
If you can't find the Physicians Formula one.

My favorite black nail polish is Black Onyx by OPI. A true shiny black. Amazing application, what else can you expect from OPI.
