ELF for the first time

So I was in Target the other day and decided to try some ELF products. Of course I gravitate towards the blushes.

So the more coral one is Candid Coral

The more pink one is Tickled pink

I have been using these blushes for a few days now and I am in love. 

They are very pigmented & are great quality for the price. 

I purchased these for $3.00 each at my Target, can't go wrong with that price.

 I highly recommend these blushes and I am for sure getting more.

This is my favorite color of all time. I have two bottles of it.

This is what I use in my nail routine.

• Drugstore brand nail polish remover. Just to get a clean nail. 
• Sally Hansens Gel Cuticle Remover. I massage it into my cuticles to push them back
• Essie Fill the Gap as my base coat. Just really fills in the ridges in your nails 
• Seche Vite as a dry fast top coat. This is just the top coat I am using for now I am on the hunt for a new one.

So this weekend I wanted to go with a nice baby pink to end off the summer. I am excited to start using darker nail polishes for fall/winter.

I always have a hard time painting my nails a light color as you can tell, because my cuticles are well retarded. They are very dry and brittle and I can never clean the light color around the cuticle the right way, but anywhoooooooo......

Butter London- Teddy Girl

Butter London polishes are a bit pricey. They go for about $14.

They can be found at Ulta.

The quality is very good and doesn't streak as it is applied. 

The brush is easy to work with.

Nabi NOTD

I don't know about you guys but I have never heard of Nabi cosmetics before.

I actually found this brand In the streets of  NYC. There was a man selling them for 2 bucks so of course I jumped on it. This is the color I have had on my nails for about a week and the quality is great! Has not chipped yet, applies beautifully, & so opaque in one coat.

They do have a website you can visit if you want to purchase any color or makeup items they have. I have not tried the makeup just the polish. WWW.NABICOSMETIC.COM

Cucumber eye treatments...So In the past

Have you ever put cold cucumbers on your eyes? I have and they kept falling off so I just ate the.

In my Birch box for the month of August I received 

Wei Tibetan Chrysanthemum correcting eye treatment pads.

2 packs of 2 pads each was sent in my Birch Box. These pads retain for $60 for 20 packs of 2 pads.

In the back it reads; 

• Tibetan Chrysanthemum diminishes the appearance of puffiness by awakening the skin with energy flow.
• Mulberry leaves minimize the appearance of dark circles 
• Eyes look well-rested after only 10 minutes
• Allergy and dermatologist tested 
• Intended for all skin types 

I honestly did notice a difference after I used the pads. I left them on my eyes for 15 minutes. It felt cool and I don't know if it was the smell but it also calmed me a bit. 

I would purchase these eye treatment pads. 

Now if you wanna scare away your significant other just follow them around the house with them on....

Battle of the NUDES

I have been really enjoying lipsticks much more than lipgloss lately. I feel like I get more out of it other than a place for my hair to stick to.
I am also a sucker for nude lipsticks. Yes the ones that just give you that your lips but better look.

Nars came out with a new lipgloss. Larger Than Life 

They retail for $26.

Aside from being bigger than the original Nars lipgloss... 

They suck.

The applicator looks like they just forgot to put it together with the packaging. 

The original applicator is on top.

The skimpy one is on the bottom.

I would not be buying another Nars Larger Than Life lipgloss.

Back and hairless!

So I have been MIA for a while but I'm back and a better beauty blogger I promise!

So I have pretty hairy arms. Thanks to my Greek background...

Yes, that is my hair arm.

For many years I have been waxing my arms, shaving my arms, and even using Nair. This Sally Hanson product I found is pretty much the same concept as Nair.

Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover

This product is much easier than Nair,waxing or shaving. I love that it's a spray can application so you really can not miss any spots on your arms or legs. 

Just spray and rinse away. Ehhh I sprayed it on my arms and let it sit for about 4 to 5 minutes then I rinsed it with luke warm water. The hair just stayed in place. You have to take a towel and gently rub the hair off, then rinse it again. Not going to lie it does have a funky smell but you get use to it. 

ITS NOT THAT BAD just kinda funky!

Overall I would repurchase this again. It is very convenient.

Does give you that nice clean look. I haven't used it on my legs because I just shave my legs (when I am not lazy). But if anyone does please let me know how it works out.

Birch Box might possibly be one of my new favorite ideas/websites.

Birch Box is a monthly membership service. It costs $10 a month and you receive 5 deluxe size beauty samples in the mail. You can cancel the service at any time, although I don’t know why you would!

I signed up in the middle of April, and they ship their box’s the first week of every month. I got my May box on May 15!! It was like my birthday! I ran to my mailbox and ripped it open to see what was inside!

This month wasn't as great as I saw other people get other months but I got a full size eye shadow from Stila and also an amazing hand lotion that I fell in love with!

Shellac update!

I am a little late with my Shellac update, but I am happy to tell you guys that I LOVED IT!
My french Shellac manicure stayed on for 8 days!
No chip, no fuss, NOTHING!
I am sure it could have lasted long but if you have been following my blog I get very bored and paint my nails like every two day lol.
I would defiantly recommend this if you find a good salon that does it and also maybe if you are going away on vacation because it will last!
